rainbow hair

The last day of kindergarten before Spring Break is a good time for a little rainbow fun.

Each of the kidlets made a rainbow (minus indigo) paper chain.

We looked at photos of real rainbows, talked about the colours, and used our fine motor skills.

Rainbow hair was the perfect poem to read.

Our paper chains made perfect rainbow hair.

I think he will look great on the bulletin board to welcome the kids back from their Break.

happy Spring Break!

  1. Love this! How cute! My kids would love this activity! :)

    1. Thanks. I can't wait for the kids to see it when they come back from Spring Break.

  2. Great paper-link hair! I do this poem every year and now I'm going to add that adorable face to my bulletin board. Such a cute idea! Thank you, Michelle

    1. I really wanted to do a communal project rather than individual faces. I am very pleased with the way that it turned out.

  3. That's really sweet, Sandi!
I'm so jealous. Everyone on the island gets two weeks for spring break except us!! We only get one:(

    1. Sorry about your one week break. I will think of you while walking on Long Beach. (I am surprised your Board hasn't gone for the 2 week break as a cost saving measure.)

  4. What a fun rainbow idea. So pretty and colourful.

I've featured this on The Sunday Showcase this week:

  5. That is such a cute rainbow craft idea! Thanks for sharing on Artsy Play Wednesday. I will pin this to my St. Patrick's Day Board. : 0 ) Theresa (Capri + )
